1962 Impala Convertible – Chevy 409 Big Block

 In Uncategorized

Joe bought this car in 2001 in Texas and had it shipped to California. The car is a 1962 Impala convertible which took about 4 years to complete the frame off restoration. He was originally going to stay with the stock look until he saw what Intro had to offer. Intro by far has the best line of rim design and quality. He is always getting complements on them at every show he attends.

The car is powered by a 350 with a 700R4 trans, it also rides on an airride suspension with a 4 wheel disc brake setup. He is currently working on a Chevy 409 big block and hopes to have it completed by the end of this year.

The interior is stock black with chrome piping and exterior is a charcoal grey with a black top. The bumpers are original California one piece that he had smoothed out. The original yellow license plates are still on the car and have the 1962 tag.
